Something different

Native Arabian halters! I've been slowly working on them for several weeks. I made lots of them, in many different colors, but these 3 are the only finished ones. Some have tassels but I really prefer this simple style, on real horses too.

These girls are finally done too! The cute Justadream is not only haired, her head and left foreleg have been refined a bit, without altering too much the original horse's look. She will wear soon a full endurance set!

Happy Morning (and new saddle in progress)

My Stone OOAK portrait arrived a few days ago! My photos can't capture his beautiful shadings and detail but the model is amazing! It's great to have a portrait of my beloved Happy!

And that's the real Happy Morning! He's the same horse in my blog's banner...well, not horse but pony, Connemara pony :)
The pics aren't great, as they have been scanned from real photos.
The background is ugly but I love this pic! I'm planning to make a SM scale halter like his real one :)

Jumping :)

Oh we were so young here...I think 13 and 6!

And finally the new saddle! The new tree I'm using is great and I found a really perfect leather to work with! I really like it so far!

Endurance halter-bridle and new saddle

I'm making this set for my Eberl Tabanja. It's still a work in progress, expecially the girth. I'll take more pics of the finished set soon. The saddle is a dark chocolate color, with a brass name plate (added after taking the pictures) and the halter-bridle's color matches perfectly the saddle pad's lining. It's not meant to be an endurance set, this is just how I would tack up my own Arabian mare if I had one :)
